Workshop: FRC® MOBILITY & STRENGTH
In this 2hr workshop we focus on hips, shoulders and spine. You will learn how to:
Gain flexibility that is safe and usable
Build deep strength to bulletproof your joints and move better.
Use your breath & nervous system for optimal results.
The FRC® Mobility drills will be explained in detail and you can experience how amazing they feel in your body. These techniques will be a great support for your:
Resistance Training / Gym workouts
Surfing
Yoga, Running, Martial arts, Tennis, Golf... or any other sports or movement practice.
It is a hands-on, practical workshop which allows enough time to introduce the science behind Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), and answer all questions around Mobility Training.
CARs - Controlled Articular Rotations we´ll use to warm up as well as assess and extend our current range of motion on the deepest level: the joint capsule.
PAILs & RAILs - Progressive and Regressive Angular Isometric Loading. This very effective form of "dynamic stretching" is rooted in sports rehabilitation. While extending your flexibility it also gives you neurological control over the new range of motion. This ultimately allows you to make use of / move actively through your full range which equals genuine mobility and helps to mitigate the risk of injury.

Workshop: CORE STRENGTH INTEGRATION
In this 1,5 hr workshop you will experience how light and easy movement can become when you know how to use your breath and core properly. We will explore in various exercises how to connect with 360° core strength, including your abdominals-, back- and glute muscles. You will learn how to:
Brace your torso to move and lift (more) weights safely.
Relieve back pain to move freely and with confidence.
Adjust your breathing for best stability and cardio results.
This is all about genuine, structural longevity and good posture. We will practice the exercises to strengthen the different muscle groups and also how to engage them properly when needed. It´s not your shortcut to a six-pack muscle, but it might come as a side effect ; ).
The techniques you learn in this workshop will help you especially if you experience backpain or unease when:
Surfing
Lifting weights in the gym
Practicing yoga or Running
Performing daily life activities
